Warphen Claro is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC, PMHNP-C), dual-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB). He provides comprehensive, evidence-based psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan through both in-person and telepsychiatry services.

Warphen earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of La Salette in the Philippines and his Master’s degree from Purdue University Global in Lafayette, Indiana. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), reflecting his commitment to continued professional development, evidence-based practice, and clinical excellence.

Before specializing in psychiatric mental health, Warphen gained approximately 15 years of experience in intensive care nursing and hospital supervision. This extensive clinical background has developed his ability to manage complex clinical situations, communicate therapeutically, provide compassionate care, and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

His clinical interests and areas of expertise include the assessment and management of depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders. He has a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and those affected by addiction. His treatment approach emphasizes evidence-based practice, therapeutic communication, compassionate patient-centered care, shared decision-making, and interprofessional collaboration.

Outside of clinical practice, Warphen is passionate about engineering and innovation. He holds patents related to mechanical engineering concepts inspired by human anatomy and enjoys designing full-suspension bicycles, combining his interests in anatomy, engineering, and creative problem-solving.
