Peter Oziegbe is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), who constantly demonstrates appropriate theoretical knowledge combined with necessary clinical skills. His passion for mental health, is exhibited by his positive attitude and intellectual curiosity necessary to clarify and enhance his understanding and knowledge of applicable content.

He is dedicated, focus, very self-directed and self-motivated. Peter demonstrates good leadership and team collaborative abilities. Although, with years of experience in Medsurg and Telemetry at St. Francis Medical Center and Santa Monica UCLA medical center respectively, his interest and years of experience also in mental health while at Star Behavioral Health Group, are galvanizing force that drives his passion in the care of client with anxiety disorder, depression, ADHD, insomnia, psychosis, substance use disorder, and a spectrum of other mental health issues, in a holistic fashion.

Peter is a member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, and American Psychiatric Nurses Association. His academic excellence earned him an invited membership into the Charles Drew University Nursing Honor Society.

Outside his professional life, he enjoys spending time with family, and enjoys classical, jazz, and Christian music. He loves soccer, basketball, and reading.
