Biography

JPatrick Gatdula “Patrick” earned his Master of Science in Nursing from West Coast University and is licensed as a Nurse Practitioner by the California Board of Nursing. He is board‑certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Coast University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with minors in Marketing and Design from the University of Southern California.

Before becoming a PMHNP, Patrick built a strong foundation in psychiatric nursing through his work in inpatient acute behavioral health at Providence Mission Hospital Laguna Beach and Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange. His experience in high‑acuity settings shaped his calm, structured, and patient‑centered approach to care. He is an active member of the American Nurses Association and remains committed to ongoing professional development and evidence‑based practice, ensuring that his treatment reflects the most current standards in psychiatric care.

Patrick’s professional journey began outside of healthcare. Prior to transitioning into nursing in 2019, he worked internationally in Bangkok, Thailand as the National Director of Construction and Interior Design for Jones Lang LaSalle. In this role, he collaborated with diverse clients and stakeholders across multiple industries, gaining deep experience in managing complex personalities, expectations, and needs. The people skills he developed now enhance his ability to connect with patients and deliver thoughtful, individualized care.
