I began my professional studies at CSUS: California State University accomplishing the CADC (California Alcoholism and Drug Counseling) Program. I then received both my bachelor's and my master's degrees from National University, majoring in Counseling Psychology, and minoring in Behavioral Science. I became fully licensed in December of 1994. 

During my years of study and internship, I spent 8 years working in Placer County Mental Health, in both child and adult services. I then worked in level 12 and 14 group homes for Severely Emotionally Abused teens.  Following this, I began my work with Advanced Psychiatry Associates in 2010.  With a16 month break in-between, I have been working at APA since. 

My specialties are EMDR and Sand Play, Dora Kalff method, with over 20 years of continued study and work using both these methodologies. While I experience myself as well honed in many traditional psychotherapeutic approaches, my core is Jungian. My life is filled with organic gardening, Interfaith Peace work, mountain lakes, good friends and 2 fabulous dogs.
